Inclusion Body Wash Buffer: As many as 70-80% of proteins produced by recombinant techniques in E. coli form inclusion bodies (i.e., protein aggregates). Apart from protein of interest, the inclusion body contains impurities, such as RNA,DNA, Lipopolysaccharide. To prepare high purity inclusion bodies from lysed E.coli cells , cell debris is separated from inclusion bodies by centrifugation. The inclusion body wash buffer then washes cell pellet and removes RNA, DNA, Lipid, lipoprotein in the presence of denaturant and mild detergents.
